Painted in Fall 2023 by the Stamps School of Art and Design, at the University of Michigan, Environmental Mural class, this collaborative piece is located in Detroit’s 48217 area. A community heavily affected by industrial pollution. The mural raises awareness about environmental injustice and calls for a future where all communities are equally valued and protected. Student participants envisioned and executed all steps of the project under the tutelage of their faculty.
